1. INTRODUCTION
CIEM S.p.A. is a company with over forty years international experience in Material Handling, Designs, Builds and Installs On Site Machines and Systems for the production of light and heavy vehicles and for the transport and storage of semi-finished products and goods. CIEM's Mission is "To realise Handling Automation projects, through qualitative, reliable and sustainable industrial processes, which have always distinguished the Italian production of CIEM in the world, through the direct fulfillment of the entire Global Contracting cycle" within a "Combining flexibility and standardisation in future challenges" Vision. The experience of our engineering department, combined with our organizational skills in production and construction activities allow us to respond to the customer on a wide range of products, from single applications to complete turnkey solutions, pursuing the highest standards of reference. Quality, safety and environmental respect are distinctive aspects of our company, monitored and managed within each process with a view to Continuous Improvement. The organization is committed and responsible for ensuring the objectives set in each area, and within each activity, coherently with its long-term strategy which guarantees uniformity and transparency of processes to the end customer. Pursuing a logic of integration, as per the regulatory orientation of recent years, CIEM S.p.A. has unified its ISO, 9001:2015, 14001:2015 and 45001:2023 systems under SGI;, simultaneously rationalizing its procedures, simplifying and strengthening the management capacity of these systems at the same time. 2. SCOPE OF APPLICATION The Integrated Quality, Safety and Environment Policy is valid for CIEM S.p.A. and applies to the entire organisation. The recipients of the policy are all employees, collaborators, consultants and suppliers, who operate in the Staff and Productive processes of CIEM S.p.A. 3. PURPOSE The management of CIEM S.p.A. has implemented and maintains an Integrated Quality, Environment, Health and Safety at Work Management System and is aware that a responsible strategy for managing corporate risks deriving from its activities is essential to achieve the expected results in terms of efficiency, quality, reliability, performance, image, safety in the workplace, and environmental protection. The unification of the systems that flow into SGI has led to the definition of an integrated and transversal policy for the Quality management of, Safety and the environment. CIEM S.p.A. is committed to operating in full compliance with the laws and regulations in force and in accordance with the standards ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2023, UNI EN ISO 3834, UNI EN 1090 for the field of application "Design, construction (by machining, welding, sandblasting and painting processes) assembly, installation, maintenance and servicing of electromechanical automated handling systems". Improvement of the Integrated Management System in all its parts and its constant adaptation to the evolution of the reality of the company and the reference regulatory panorama are a fundamental basis to allow CIEM S.p.A. to successfully pursue the objectives of Quality, Environment, Health and Safety. The management pays the utmost attention to the expectations of customers, company staff and all stakeholders. To meet these expectations and to pursue continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System, it undertakes:
Over the course of recent years, in consideration of of an unstoppable evolution in the computerization of processes / dematerialization and digitalization of data, and in consideration of a consequent continuous greater attention to Data Protection and Cyber Security, CIEM S.p.A. has made it strategic to obtain the TISAX Result Available Label, defining from this perspective, a system called ISMS – Information Security Management System, which today also effectively supports the SGI. In the same way CIEM S.p.A. has adopted a SUSTAINABILITY POLICY in its business relationships with direct and indirect suppliers, inspired by and compliant with the highest ethical standards, to safeguard the reputation of its organization, in compliance with the laws and regulations in force, asking to undersign the same commitments and extending their effects to all its supply chain. The organization of CIEM S.p.A., in operating with honesty and integrity, respect for dignity and opinion, supporting equal opportunities and an inclusive culture and attentive to the cultural and linguistic rights of minorities, promoting a safe, respectful and productive working environment free from any kind of harassment, asks its Suppliers to adopt and respect in particular all the rules that regulate work (including minimum wages, compliance with payment terms, as well as freedom of association and collective bargaining), complying with, during projects abroad , local regulations and legislation when this prevails. |
CIEM S.p.A. and its supply chain, ensure that throughout the entire production process workers are treated with dignity and respect and that forced labor or any form of exploitation such as child labor, slavery etc. is not used.
CIEM S.p.A. conducts its activities paying attention to the environment, requiring its suppliers to have a compliant environmental impact (monitored and streamlined), as well as a management and traceability system for waste and chemical substances so as to maximize the correct disposal and reuse of resources. CIEM S.p.A. pursuing these objectives also through its CODE OF ETHICS,has a responsible approach, responding jointly with the supplier and guaranteeing: the identification and removal of any potential conflict of interest and non-tolerance, in any form of corruption, extortion, active or passive misappropriation, including anti-competitive activities such as cartel agreements, abuse of dominant position and abuse of economic dependence; compliance with all applicable fair trade, advertising, competition and antitrust laws; compliance with anti-corruption laws and regulations (including the “Foreign Corrupt Practices Act” and the “Bribery Act 2010”) and committing to implementing a reporting system. The supplier is therefore required to align its organization and processes with the above, including the necessary training and education to guarantee these requirements, a monitoring and sanctioning system, as well as of course respecting the terms of the normal conditions envisaged in the purchase order, including the authenticity of the parts supplied, and safeguarding all sensitive proprietary and confidential information disclosed by CIEM S.p.A. As part of the implementation of its corporate objectives, CIEM S.p.A. has adopted a CODE OF ETHICS which regulates the behavior of its internal and external stakeholders, which, applied to the entire CIEM S.p.A. organization and its subsidiaries, is an integral part of the organisation model, management and control adopted by the company pursuant to and for the purposes of the Legislative Decree 231/01 approved on 15 December 2022, it consists of:
CIEM S.p.A. recognizes the centrality of human resources and believes that an essential factor of success and development is the professional contribution of the people who work within the company. Physical and moral integrity is considered a primary value of the Company, working conditions that respect individual dignity, in safe and healthy working environments are guaranteed, in which behaviors such as abuse of power, acts of psychological violence, sexual harassment, acts of bullying, mobbing shall not be tolerated. Dialogue, discussion, professional development of its collaborators, dignity and autonomy of the person in establishing hierarchical relationships are placed by the company at the center of its daily operations to establish a corporate identity and sense of belonging. Each worker is required to avoid any possible conflict of interest, and to report any conflictual situation. In terms of Data Protection, all personnel are required to respect intellectual property rights and protect confidential information from misuse, including theft, fraud or disclosure. The Company aims to fulfill contractual requirements agreed with its clients regarding information security and in compliance with the most up-to-date European and national regulations regarding Privacy, it has adopted an Information Security Management System (ISMS) for the management of information security as well as the Organizational and Data Protection Management Model (GDPR). Company information of any nature (commercial, financial, technical, etc...) represents an asset that CIEM S.p.A. intends to protect, as an asset of know-how and technical investment. Quality is a distinctive element of our company guaranteed through a quality management system that offers uniformity, transparency and continuous improvement to all external parties. CIEM S.p.A. pursues fair and correct competition in the market by scrupulously observing relevant laws, and available to collaborate with authorities. The behavioral style of internal staff and collaborators towards customers is based on availability, respect and courtesy, with a view to a collaborative and highly professional relationship. The purchasing processes are based on the search for maximum competitive advantage, granting equal opportunities to suppliers, loyalty and impartiality. CIEM S.p.A. expects suppliers, consultants, representatives of services and goods to accept and respect the Supplier Sustainability Policy and adhere to it by promoting the same regulations within their organization. CIEM S.p.A. shall not tolerate any form of corruption, bribery, embezzlement or fraud and prohibits anyone carrying out activities on its behalf from engaging in activities that do not comply with its policy, whether towards private or public organisations. Honesty, Integrity and compliance with all laws and regulations applicable in business in any country are essential for CIEM S.p.A. including local regulations.; CIEM S.p.A. has a zero tolerance policy for corruption and prohibits its employees who carry out activities on its behalf, from carrying out activities that are not in accordance with its policy, making every reasonable effort to promote adherence to its Code of Ethics among its employees, conduct and exercise due diligence to prevent and detect corruption in all business dealings; CIEM S.p.A. promotes and monitors the correct implementation of the Code of Ethics through the top organisational structure of the company: Board of Directors, General Management, Managers and the Supervisory Body which also takes care of its updates based on the reports received and is subject to the disciplinary system envisaged by the company Model 231 , any violations, possibly implemented by the recipients. 5. OBJECTIVES The specific objectives are defined annually by the Management, disseminated to all employees and reviewed during the Management Review The Management is directly and constantly involved in the work of raising awareness, organizing and coordinating those company functions that contribute to the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System. 6. REVIEW AND CONTROL The CEO / Company Council is responsible for periodically reviewing the policy, therefore they will comply with any significant changes in the organization and/or technologies used to protect information. The review will be carried out periodically or on the occasion of significant organizational and/or technological changes relevant to information management. The Supervisory Board will then approve the new security policy. |
